Custom domains let you replace the default GetReviews link with something that looks and feels like it came directly from your brand — think _rewards.yourbrand.com_ or _feedback.yourbrand.com_. It's a small change with an outsized impact on click-through rates, customer confidence, and the overall professionalism of your post-purchase experience. You may now embed reviews on custom URLs without setting up any web hosting services. Inside GetReviews navigate to Surveys > click to Edit a survey 2. Open up the Additional Survey Settings accordion 3. Update your DNS settings and set the Name to your custom domain and the Target/Destination to " **direct.getreviews.ai**". _Read below on how you can update your DNS settings._ 4. Check the "Custom Domain" option and input a URL, for example "survey.yourbrand.com" or "yourbrandreviews.com" * * * ## How to Update Your DNS Settings 1. To update the DNS settings, you may do so on your domain provider such as GoDaddy, Hostinger, Shopify Domains, etc. 2. Wait some time for DNS propagation 4. Then, add the domain the Custom Domain field on GetReviews. Note: We have added a status indicator to make troubleshooting easier. If you see " **Verifying DNS & provisioning SSL...**", it means that the CNAME record hasn't propagated yet. In this case, please wait a bit and then click " **Retry SSL**". If the issue persists after a few hours, email us at [support@getreviews.ai](mailto:support@getreviews.ai) and we'll help resolve it. _Subdomain_ You have an online store presence at myshop.com, and want your survey funnel to live at reviews.myshop.com. In this case, your "Name" should be a subdomain on your existing website. Set the lowest TTL possible for the fastest availability. Also note that if you uncheck the "Custom Domain" checkbox inside GetReviews > Survey > Edit, your custom domain will not show your survey.
