Products

A product is an item your customer purchases, either via a marketplace or directly from your website. Each product has unique attributes that enable the GetReviews process to work. Let's go over what these are while learning how to create a product in GetReviews.

1. On the products page, click "Add Product"
2. Complete the fields to create a product
1. Product Name : This is the name of your product. This will be how your customer identifies the product they purchased, so be sure that the product name matches the product name on the marketplace they purchased your product on.
2. Eligible Giveaways : Eligible giveaways are the items that you would like to make eligible for your customer to claim as their free gift offering for purchasing this product. For example, if a customer purchased this product from you, what would you like them to be able to select as their free gift? This section is where you define that.
3. Product Image : This is an image of your product. Similar to the product name, the product image will display once your customer selects the product they purchased on your survey, so be sure this product image matches the product image on the marketplace that your customer purchased your product on.
4. Product ID : Input the product ID for the marketplace(s) that you're selling this product on. If a product has a product ID populated, and if that product is assigned to a survey, the customer will be able to select which marketplace they purchased this product from. For example, if you populate Amazon and Walmart product IDs, then if the customer selects this product as the product they purchased, they will be asked where they purchased this product from (Amazon or Walmart?)

Finding Product IDs

If you sell products on your own custom-coded website, you can provide any internal value on the GetReviews "New Product" interface. But for platforms listed below, it's critical you provide us the correct Product ID for GetReviews to properly redirect your customer to complete their review.

Angi (Angie's List)

The Business ID is available by initiating a new review on your Angi listing URL. To find it, you must first visit your company's profile. For example:

Scroll down and click the "Write a review" button, then note the new URL. For example:

https://www.angi.com/write-review/24554076

Your Angi Business ID is the text after "/write-review/", thus: 24554076 .

Amazon , Amazon UK , Amazon CA , Amazon AU

The ASIN, or Amzon Standard Identification Number, is available within your Amazon seller account or by visiting your product's public sales page. Simply grab the value after "/dp/" in the URL. For example, in the url:

Better Business Bureau

The URL Slug is available from your BBB online listing URL. To find it, you must visit your company's profile. Note the full URL. For example:

Capterra

The Product Review ID is available by interacting with your Capterra listing. To find it, you must first visit your company's profile. For example:

Next, click "Write a Review!" next to your company's name and star rating at the top. Examine the new URL:

Your Product Review ID is the trailing number at the end of the URL. In the above example: 278451

Facebook Fan Page

The URL Slug is available from your Facebook business profile. For example:

The Product URL Slug is available from your G2 Crowd business profile. For example:

The URL Slug is available from your HomeGoods.com online listing URL. To find it, you must search for your product's name directly in the search bar, versus navigating to it from a category. After finding your product, note the full URL. For example:
