Customizing Text on Your GetReviews Survey
To make your surveys more engaging and relevant, it's essential to customize the text on your survey to match your company's message and communicate more clearly and directly with your audience regarding your survey flow.
Here are the steps to customize your GetReviews survey text:
Step 1: Accessing your GetReviews Dashboard
Log in to your GetReviews account.
Navigate to the "Surveys" tab on your dashboard.
Step 2: Selecting the Survey to Customize
Choose the survey you want to customize from the list of active surveys.
Click on the Edit icon to open its settings.
Step 3: Open your Survey for side-by-side comparison
We recommend you open your current survey page in a separate tab so you can do a side-by-side comparison.
You can do this by right-clicking "View Survey" on the top and selecting Open Link in New Tab
Now, you should see a new tab with your current survey
Step 4: Edit Survey Settings
To customize your survey text, scroll to the bottom of the page to Additional Survey Settings > click the drop-down menu > and scroll to Survey Strings
Click Edit Survey Strings
Step 5: Edit Survey Strings
Click the dropdown under English Translations
You can see all the survey copy and the custom edits you can do.
Let's go through an example together:
Survey Edit Example
As a default, your survey will have a header as "Please share your experience!" and a subheader as "The process is quick and easy! To begin, please complete the fields below."
Here's a tip! Use the Control F or Command F (for Mac) function to easily find this text on your survey strings.
Now that you've seen the text you'd like to edit, you can input your desired text. For example, let's edit it to "Give Us your Honest Feedback".
Click the Save button on the top right.
Once you click Save, go back to your surveys tab, refresh and you should see the updated copy applied.
Ta-da, now the survey copy is updated!
What to Be Careful Of
We don't suggest you make all the survey copy edits at once. Make a few changes, click Save, and review if it's been properly applied to your survey.
We cannot revert the survey copy edits you make. So, be careful by making a few edits and Saving often.
There are specific copy that contains a variable such as the following. Do not edit the variable itself.
