How to Set Up Your First GetReviews Giveaway
Looking to set up your first GetReviews giveaway? Follow the steps below to get started:
Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up A GetReviews Giveaway
1. To start creating your first giveaway, login to your GetReviews account. Then, click Giveaways on the left side of your dashboard.
2. Click “Create Giveaway” on the top right. You will have three options to choose from:
Product- Represents a physical item, i.e. a t-shirt, phone case, or coffee mug. If a respondent selects this a product giveaway, they will be shown an additional section on the survey that asks for their physical address. This is necessary in order for you to fulfill their giveaway selection by shipping them their free item.
Coupon Code - Allows you to give away a coupon, url, or other digital item
eGift - Allows you to giveaway a gift card or other eGift. You must use the Tremendous integration to use this giveaway type. If you do not have a Tremendous account, you can sign up for one at https://tremendous.com
3.a. If creating a Product Giveaway:
You will be required to enter the following information on the form:
Giveaway name (required) - What are you giving away? The giveaway name will be shown to your survey respondent.
Giveaway Image (required)
Giveaway Description (optional) - Provide some detail about your giveaway. This will be shown to your respondent, so be sure to provide a friendly, succinct description about this giveaway.
Giveaway SKU (optional) - The SKU value serves two purposes. One as an internal identifier available in your review export that serves as a way to analyze which giveaways respondents are claiming, and two as a value designed for GetReviews' 3PL integrations that enable automated fulfillment of respondent gifts. If you would like to enable automated fulfillment of your giveaway via a GetReviews 3PL integration, enter your SKU value here exactly as it shows in your 3PL provider.
Giveaway Eligibility - What products are eligible to claim this giveaway? Tick the checkbox next to each product that you would like to make eligible to claim this giveaway.
Once you’ve filled out the information, click the Save button in the top right corner. Your Product giveaway is now live!
b. If creating a Coupon Code Giveaway:
You will be required to enter the following information on the form:
Giveaway name (required) - What are you giving away? The giveaway name will be shown to your survey respondent.
Giveaway Image (required)
Coupon Code (required): Enter your coupon codes here in a comma separated list. For example "coupon1,coupon2,coupon3"
Email Template (required): Enter your email template. Can use { {COUPONCODE} } as tokens that will be replaced with the appropriate values before being sent.
Giveaway Description (optional) - Provide some detail about your giveaway. This will be shown to your respondent, so be sure to provide a friendly, succinct description about this giveaway.

c. If creating an eGift Giveaway:
You will be required to enter the following information on the form:
Giveaway name (required) - What are you giving away? The giveaway name will be shown to your survey respondent.
Giveaway Image (required)
Campaign ID (required): The ID campaign to generate an order for. Example: 1OFK0SU482NP
Order Value (required): The value in USD (whole dollars only). Using 10 would generate an order for $10 usd.
